External Control Unit to improve Tenere 700’s performances : Torque and Power – by Rapid Bike

Read Time:1 Minute, 2 Second

This is the Graph of a Tenere700 with and without a Rapid Bike Racing add-on module. You can observe that from 2500 RPM the External Control unit gives more torque and power keeping for all the RPM a significant Delta.

As we discussed already in another post ( Link : Remap Control Unit or Add an External one? – by Dante Corbani – Tenere 700 ) , there are many reasons to prefer an additional control unit vs a Remapping solution and of course there are also Cons. It depends of your needs.

We will arrange a call with Rapid Bike team (Dimsport company) to answer to all your questions in a dedicated livestream during next weeks.  Link to Dimsport web page : DIMSPORT – ENGINE CALIBRATION SPECIALISTS

My personal point of view is : External control unit improve Torque and power on low rpm, exactly where you need them in off road . (up to 15% like you can see in the graph )

If you need another 5% Additional Torque, you can add a 48 Sprocket that should give … going up to 20% of Torque vs Tenere 700 Standard

P.s : You have to check in your local country regulation’s impact for homologation and with your motorcycle manufacturer for the warranty impact.
